Real Madrid ended the 2012-2013 season without any silverware and the unrest in the dressing room has been growing ever since the season started, they finished way behind Barcelona in the La Liga race got humiliated by Dortmund in the Champions League final were beaten by arch city rivals Atletico Madrid in the Copa Del Rey final and now they will be offloading some of the players and of course the biggest change will be the manager Jose Mourinho who is moving to Chelsea most probably.
A new manager who is beleived to be Carlo Ancoloti, will be taking the reigns at Real Madrid and with him will come a few new faces and looking at Carl Ancoloti history of singings here are some of the prime targets he will be after this summer transfer window.
Real Madrid Transfer Targets 2013
Gareth Bale | Tottenham
Perhaps the most talked about transfer of this upcoming season is Gareth Bale’s destination only three clubs are interested in him with tottenham one of them, while Manchester United and Real Madrid are going head to head for yet another top player. Gareth Bale however has hinted about his desire to play abroad and Tottenham are unlikely to sell him to any domestic rival. Bale had a super season with Spurs and since they failed to qualify for the Champions League he would like to move to a club where he can taste the success of Champions League glory and Real Madrid so far looks in the front seat to sign him and they have to now as Barcelona snapped up Naymar.
Marco Verrati | PSG
If Carlo Ancoloti comes in as new manager of Real Madrid one of the players is most likely to follow him from Paris Saint Germain is Marco Verrati, who has a very good season at Paris Saint Germain. Although PSG have hinted that they wont be seeling Verrati but that can change if player would like to move. He is just 5’5 and has been on top of this game last season, he can pass and can boos the midfield but his discipline record is not good as he has taken 10 yellow cards in last season.
Isco | Malaga
Another good player who had a excelent season with Malaga, helping them to the quarter finals of the Champions League and almost made it to the semifinal only for the 2 crazy minutes at end of 2nd leg although that was not his fault. “new Andrea Iniesta” they call him and he has the eye for that killer pass, can dribble and has good work ethic he is a kind of player which would definately suit Real Madrid. Price range: £25 million mark.
Geoffrey Kondogbia | Sevilla
Another young player who plays in this holding midfield role and although Real Madrid have couple of very good and consistant players for this position with Xabi Alonso and Sami Kadira, he will be a welcome adition to the squad as experts compare him with the likes of Partic Viara and Yaya Toure. Moreover he has hinted that he would like to play for Real Madrid one day. Price Range €15 and €20 Millions
